Belgrade Sacral Tour

Experience the spiritual heart of the Serbian capital on our Sacral Belgrade Tour—a powerful walk through centuries of faith, coexistence, and history. Belgrade has long been a meeting point of civilizations, and its religious heritage reflects the diversity that has shaped the city for generations.

Our journey begins in front of the majestic Cathedral Church, one of the most important Orthodox landmarks in Serbia. From there, we explore sacred sites belonging to Catholic and Protestant communities, discovering how different Christian traditions developed side by side in this borderland city.

We continue to the historic Bajrakli Mosque, the only surviving mosque in Belgrade, a reminder of centuries of Ottoman presence. Nearby, we visit the Belgrade Synagogue, learning about the Jewish community’s rich cultural legacy and tragic destiny during World War II.

A special part of the tour takes place at New Cemetery. Why is the oldest cemetery called “New”? And who rests there? Walking through the famous Alley of the Greats, you will hear stories about distinguished artists, politicians, scientists, and soldiers who shaped Serbian history. We also visit memorial complexes and monuments dedicated to the World War I allies, reflecting Belgrade’s role in global events.

This tour offers more than architecture—it reveals destinies, beliefs, and the shared spaces where cultures met, sometimes peacefully, sometimes through conflict.

We conclude our walk with relaxed socializing and tasting some of the best local street food, included in the price—because sharing food is also a form of connection.
